"The third installment of Rotation UK's 'Definitions Of The Deep' has arrived. With first two LP's featuring some of biggest names in Drum & Bass, the third has a hard act to follow.
It's safe to say it has succeeded to be a fantastic arrangement of some of the best intelligent Drum & Bass available today.
Our first dive into the deep introduces lush cinematic pads and melodies with a crisp set of percussion to keep the head nodding. Beautifully mysterious vocals sway in and around the mix.
SoundNbeats, Keosz and Seathasky's talents made their music the sure pick to kick of the current.
Continuing onwards we come across lovely progressive vocal choirs, summery chords and euphoric vocal cuts by Stunna, Intersolar, Marso and Gala.
Beloved amen breaks and reverb laden sax cuts come into play next with SoulTec, Static and Spero's addition to DOTD III with their track 1939.
Classic Nuage influenced beats and dark bass lines keep the ball rolling fast and true. Picked guitar leads, Sweet guitar leads and rustic drum patterns remind us of the liquid roots of Part 3.
Sensual sax and jazzy riffs eek the listener onwards, fast un-relenting drum breaks keep us on our toes while arpeggiated melodies scurry through the mix. Ethnic drums and strange synths create the basis for energetic vocal cuts to pave the wave.
Definitions Of The Deep has returned for Part III and has succeeded in continuing the renowned franchise and by living up to high expectations.
Rotation UK is becoming the go-to-place for Drum & Bass, competing with the biggest in the business. DOTD III has proved this fact"
